Don’t you just love the thought of those crisp, blue sky mornings, Sunday walks and kicking leaves in the park, feeling warm and cosy, wrapped up against the winter chill?.
And it’s now that I begin my move out of summer clothes and into richer, warmer fabrics and accessories, making room in my wardrobe for thicker jumpers and tights, smart little jackets, coats and scarves, ready to repel the frost and brighten up those gloomier days.
I still keep my everyday staples though! Jeans and Ts or polo necks, long dresses and boots……..but here’s the twist, I “reinvent and refresh” what is hanging there from last year with a range of new accessories, making them feel brand new again! It makes me feel good too because I’m spending less and watching my personal sustainability.
What’s key this Autumn?
Standout Snakeskin – this is all over the high street in bold vibrant colours – boots, bags, coats and scarves. A natural evolution from fashion’s fixation with leopard print. There are so many amazing prints and mix of prints so expect mock snakeprint to slither its way onto accessories.
‘Beige’ – fashion’s must-have hue of the moment. That means be confident to take it forward from a byword and wear it head-to-toe!
Gender Fluid – the line between gendered dressing continues to blur on the runway. I think we should embrace it too. My new collection has a wide range of checked, plaid and tartan scarves to suit everyone.
Colours – bold and bright are the perfect anti-dote to those darker, wintry days. Brighten up your look, even if it’s a new vibrant lipstick, necklace or scarf.
Check-on-Check – This season is channelling the country-set as all things plaid remain a hit
From traditional tartan to classic checks! They are timeless and super stylish.
Chains – It’s about layering and more layering! Gold, silver, chunky or delicate, the more the merrier!
I have created a new and beautiful collection for AW19 that I am confident you’ll love.
My passion for fashion and my desire to keep my looks updated and ever changing have taken me to Italy and Scandinavia this year, not to mention London of course. I’ve brought you a capsule of what I consider to be the very best that Europe has to offer this autumn, across scarves, hats, jewellery, coats and jackets, plus a few little extras. So you can ‘inject’ your own new season style and wear it with confidence.
My full range is available on the website, but here’s a few of my faves.
